مدريد، 3 فبراير/شباط (إفي): تجتاح موجة من الصقيع إسبانيا بدرجات حرارة تصل في بعض المناطق إلى 20 تحت الصفر وتشل أوجه الحياة فيها.
وأدى الطقس السيئ إلى تعطيل الدراسة ببعض المناطق مثل كتالونيا (شمال شرق) وقشتالة وليون (وسط) وتوقف حركة الملاحة البحرية قرب جزيرة مينوركا بالبحر المتوسط.
وتسببت برودة الطقس في إقبال شديد على شراء الغاز الطبيعي لاستخدامه في المنازل، بينما أدت الثلوج في بعض المناطق إلى توقف حركة المرور.
وتصاحب موجة البرد التي تجتاح القارة الأوروبية منذ عدة أيام ويتوقع أن تستمر حتى بعد غد الأحد رياح بسرعة 90 عقدة/ساعة بينما يصل ارتفاع الأمواج قبالة مايوركا إلى ستة أمتار، ما أدى إلى قطع الاتصالات البحرية مع الجزيرة. (إفي)
